Remember Bach Fest 2018

Over the centuries, the music of Johann Sebastian Bach has inspired countless musicians. His music contains so much inventiveness and passion, and I always find something new and intriguing even when playing a piece for the umpteenth time.
In November I’ll be playing a program of three part miniatures , titled “Triptych”, with Austral Harmony, in concerts in Brisbane and Canberra. Organist Phillip Gearing will also give a solo recital in Canberra, and there will be a masterclass to give students a chance to learn more about this repertoire and Historically Informed Performance.

Here is the Triptych program:
J S Bach  Trio (Sinfonia) nach BWV 21/1 in C minor
for oboe, violin & harpsichord
Anon/JSB  Fantasia BWV Anh. 86 in C minor for keyboard
for keyboard solo
J S Bach Trio BWV 528 in E minor

J S Bach Cantabile ma un poco Adagio from BWV 1019
